Prices are for most cars. Some prestige or specialist models may cost more, and we'll always confirm before we start. Out-of-hours charges, and travel charges beyond the M25, may apply (see below). If your car is inside the Central London Congestion Charge zone during charging hours, the daily charge will be added to your invoice.

London and the outskirts
Based in North London (N19). No travel charge anywhere inside the M25, and we'll come up to 10 miles beyond it for a small travel charge. Send your postcode and we'll confirm. For cars inside the Central London Congestion Charge zone, the daily charge may be added to your bill.
- Green: Greater London. No travel charge.
- Yellow: the outskirts. Still free inside the M25. Beyond it: +£10 up to 5 miles out, +£20 for 5–10 miles out, subject to availability.

Sunday or bank holiday evening? You only pay the higher charge (+£20), not both. Stuck with a warning light late at night? Message us any time and we'll confirm the price before we set off.

Good to know
What do I need to do?
Just have the car parked somewhere we can reach it, with the keys. The scan runs with the ignition on and usually takes 30–45 minutes.
Do you fix the faults as well?
We diagnose, reset, relearn and code. For mechanical repairs, your report tells any garage exactly what to look at, which saves you paying them to find the problem.
Will you just clear the warning light?
No. We find out why it came on first. Clearing a code without fixing the cause only means it comes back.
Which cars do you cover?
Most petrol, diesel and hybrid cars and vans from the last 20 years, across all major makes.
How do I pay?
Cash or bank transfer on the day, once the job is done. Your invoice is sent to you by email.
How do I get my report?
Your health report and next steps plan are emailed to you as PDFs after the visit, so you can keep them or send them to your garage.
What's in the next steps plan?
Each fault in order of priority, whether it's safe to keep driving, the likely cause, what to ask your garage to check, and what can wait. Most scans just give you a list of codes. We tell you what to do next.
Do you charge extra in the Congestion Charge zone?
If your car is parked inside the Central London Congestion Charge zone during charging hours, the daily charge may be added to your invoice. We'll let you know when you book.
Is the scan a full mechanical inspection?
No. It's an electronic scan of your car's computer systems. It finds stored faults and live data issues, but it doesn't replace a physical inspection of parts like tyres, brakes or bodywork.
